Media has called Allison Howell Williams as a terror queen because of her work in horror movies. The first time she was recognized for her work was playing Marnie Michaels in the HBO comedy-drama show Girls (2012-2017) that earned her a Critics' Choice Award nomination. Rose Armitage played by her in the film Get Out was a breakthrough role that earned Rose nominations, among other awards from the MTV Movie Awards (2017) and Screen Actors Guild Awards (2017).
