Jennifer Garner was born on the 17th of April, 1972 at Houston, Texas but was raised to be raised in Charleston, West Virginia. William John Garner was her father, and was a chemical engineer company called Union Carbide. Patricia Ann was a teacher at the local college. In the hopes of following his father's path and earn a degree in chemical engineering. In order to follow her dream of becoming an actress, she moved in New York to try her chances in the film industry. Garner selected Gary Winick for the role as director. Both actors continued working together on other projects up until Winick died in 2011. The year 2009 was the first time Garner was named an artist ambassador for Save the Children U.S.A. This role entails promoting education, nutrition, and literacy as well as early education. Garner, who has served as a member of the board since 2014, has been an advocate for the cause of early education. As a member of the Early Steps to School Success (EASS) program's ambassador team Garner regularly visits families to guide them in ways to motivate their children to achieve.
