Beautiful pics of Tamara Day and Sarah Stiles feet & legs
While I had one baby on me and others with me in the cradle worked 12 hours a day sanding flooring and tearing off wallpaper. Ha! The whole thing was beginning to come together but it wasn't quite finished. It would take time, money and of course my favourite shopping experience for furniture to decorate this home. To keep within budget, I began by taking my sons to estate sales in search of diamonds. It was our weekly routine of walking around auctions and garage sales on Saturday and Sunday as well as purchase various of old pieces and new made. It was my job to spend the day in the driveway either painting or sanding. Looked a little something like it... That's when my interest in the restoration of furniture first began. Even though our home was decorated, I was unable to put down. I had a space in the market at my local location and also sold items there. Then, my collection got to the point that the space I had available was no longer adequate. My home was where I started hosting open houses where more than 1000 people could come in to purchase anything they liked on the 1st floor within a single weekend. Growing Days was created in this house. Growing Days was not only an incredibly successful business, but also my sweet family. It was essential to find the right balance for me. I wanted to balance being a mother as well as a business owner who was successful. Growing Days seemed like the perfect match. The year was 2013, and my lovely daughter Nora came along our 4th child. My business was booming but I wanted a rest. I decided to take some time off from my vintage furniture and stay at home with the kids. The time was right. However, after just a couple of minutes I began to hear my phone getting busy. I was getting calls from people seeking help for their interior decorating and home renovations. Most of these people were those who had walked through my house during open houses for furniture! While I was working I began adding clients to my list in a series of. But it wasn't long before I had several clients, and had a profitable home improvement business. When you first told me about my business in home renovation, I laughed. Even now, when I look back on this situation I am laughing.
